FAQ

Getting to know PeekaWhom.

What is PeekaWhom?

PeekaWhom is launching soon. It gives you one place for a child’s routines, likes, health details and other things that help people know them better. If you manage a child’s profile, you can invite trusted people to their Circle and choose what each person can access. A Circle is the group of people you share that child’s profile with.

Who is PeekaWhom for?

PeekaWhom is for anyone trusted to be part of a child’s life: parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, coaches, babysitters, therapists, family friends and more. With one account, you can manage a child’s profile, have a profile shared with you, or do both.

How can PeekaWhom help us stay in touch?

An Update can pass on what happened today, while a familiar Routine helps the next person know what usually works. You can also message someone in the child’s Circle to ask a question or keep a conversation going.

Can I use one account for different children?

Yes. Children shows the Child Profiles you manage, while Circle shows profiles shared with you. My Account holds your own details and settings. If someone invites you, sign in or create your PeekaWhom account to accept. You don’t need to add a child yourself.

What can I keep in a Child Profile?

Keep everyday things like favourite foods, Routines and Updates alongside Health details, Contacts and Memories. There is also room for About, Personality and Household information. Circle is where you manage who has access to the child’s profile.

What is a Circle, and how does access work?

A child’s Circle is the people you choose to share their profile with. A grandparent, teacher or family friend may each need different access. Every child has their own Circle, and knowing a child’s name or ID does not open their profile.

Can I be connected to different children in different ways?

Yes. You might be an aunt to one child and a teacher to another. Both connections use the same PeekaWhom account. Your Relationship and access are set separately for each child.

How does PeekaWhom work alongside medical guidance?

You can keep health details and care instructions close to the child’s everyday information. Follow their care plan and advice from qualified professionals when making care decisions.

How should I use PeekaWhom for emergency information?

You can keep emergency contacts and useful details in a Child Profile. For urgent care or immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

How is children's information treated?

What's the difference between Core and Plus?

Core includes everything you need to keep your child's information complete, shared safely and up to date, including health, medications, emergency contacts, Circle sharing, alerts and messaging. Plus adds more control and convenience: custom permissions for each person, full activity history, a printable care handover pack, more storage, priority support and early access to new features. PeekaWhom AI is coming soon to Plus.

Do safety features cost extra?

No. Everything that helps keep your child safe, such as health information, medications, allergies, emergency contacts and alerts to your Circle, is included in Core.

Do people in my Circle need a subscription?

No. Family, friends and caregivers you invite to a child's Circle don't pay. Only the parent or guardian who manages the child's profile needs a plan.

Can I switch between Core and Plus?

Yes. You can upgrade or switch plans at any time from Subscription & Billing in the app. If you move from Plus to Core, the people you've given access to keep their current access, and older activity history is kept and becomes visible again if you upgrade.
